DESCRIPTION

SILENT – E is a membrane developed for floating floors and together with a suitably designed system notable reduces the sound of footsteps on floor levels and trafficable coverings. The material is supplied in rolls and consists of a waterproofing layer coupled to an product are formulated to reduce the sound of footsteps, while dissipating acoustic energy as heat making it possible to use the membrane even at very low temperatures thanks to the plasticity of the bituminous membrane.

The waterproofing layer not only protects the sound resilient element from mechanical stress when the cement slap is cast but on completion also protects the system from water infiltration

The smooth polyethylene sheet top finish is easy to clean during laying.

SILENT – E has been tested by certified laboratories. The result is a notable improvement of the Indexes (UNI EN ISO 717/2 Test report CSI 0037/DC/ACU/04 of the sound of footsteps) and an excellent dynamic rigidity = 13 (MN/cu.m.) (ISO 9052-1 / 1989 Giordano Institute Test Report 1892. 13/04). These values contribute substantially to the design and realization of the floor levels and ensure acoustic comfort superior to that called for by DPCM dated 5 December 1997.
